White on Bringhurst: Wrecking Ball Must Go Through Me First

Jodie White, who retired as Alexandria’s parks and recreation director in 2007, isn’t too happy about any talk of tearing down Bringhurst Field, home of the summer collegiate Alexandria Aces (Texas Collegiate League).  He says any demolition will have to go through him first.  As reported last week, the city planned to close the stadium after safety concerns were raised about the facility’s stuctural integrity.  Read more here.
