Naturals Awarded 2013 Texas League All-Star Game, Release Logo

PRESS RELEASE – The Naturals have been awarded the honor of hosting the 2013 Texas League All-Star Game on July 25, 2013. Now that the date and location for the event are set the Naturals are proud to present the 2013 All-Star Game logo. The logo features their familiar dark red and blue colors and is reminiscent of the both the Naturals primary logo and the Arvest Ballpark logo.

The Naturals have released four versions of the All-Star logo. All of the logos are set upon either a blue or white background and have the phrase “All-Star Game” spelled out in large white letters. Directly behind the wording is a star-lined diamond similar to the diamond that is featured on the Arvest Ballpark logo. One version of the logo has the word “Texas League”, the second reads “Springdale”, the third says “Arvest Ballpark”, while the fourth version features “June 25”. All four versions of the logo incorporate the same speeding baseball with tail that is featured in the Naturals traditional logo.

The 2013 Texas League All-Star Game is scheduled for July 25 at Arvest Ballpark, marking the first time Springdale, AR has hosted the event. The Naturals also look forward to hosting the 2013 Home Run Derby that is traditionally held prior to the All-Star Game.

“It is a great event and we are so honored to be hosting the Mid-Summer Classic,” says General Manager Eric Edelstein. “This is not only a time honored tradition for the baseball community but it is also a perfect opportunity to showcase the best of the Northwest Arkansas region.”

The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and play at state-of-the-art Arvest Ballpark, located in Springdale. Visit our website, nwanaturals.com, for information on season tickets and ticket plans.
