T-Padres Working to Renew Lease, Suitor Still Working to Bring Them to El Paso

The Triple-A Tucson Padres (Pacific Coast League) are reportedly trying to renew their lease at Kino Stadium for one and possibly two more season.  Meanwhile, back in El Paso, ABC 7’s Leonard Martinez seems to make a big deal out of the fact that the group working to bring a Triple-A club to El Paso registered www.ElPasoPadres.com on June 7, as if everyone doesn’t already know that the T-Padres are the targeted franchise.  Read more here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the story.
