Ballpark Visit ALERT: Burlington Athletic Stadium (Burlington, NC)

Brian Merzbach from BallparkReviews.com visited Burlington Athletic Stadium, home of the Rookie-level Burlington Royals (Appalachian League), this past Monday.  As expressed by Merzbach on Facebook, “Of all the leagues across this country, only the Appalachian League seems to provide an authentic minor league experience.  No shiny ballparks (with the exception of Greeneville) and no scripted nonsense between every inning. The focus here is on baseball and the atmosphere allows for a very intimate experience between the players and fans.  View photos here.
