The Hillsboro City Council voted Tuesday evening to approve a deal that will bring the Single-A Yakima Bears (Northwest League) to a new ballpark in the Portland suburb beginning in 2013. As we have stated before, expect the summer collegiate West Coast League to quickly step in to fill the void in Yakima. Read more here.
