“We are eternally grateful for the sacrifices the men and women of our armed services have made and continue to make,” said Spinners Head Groundskeeper and Air Force Reserve Senior Airman Jeff Paolino. “This chair represents the ultimate sacrifice and is the ultimate reminder that these men and women are never forgotten.”
The pre-game ceremony began at 6:30 p.m. with a special Rolling Rally around the LeLacheur Park warning track featuring the Rolling Thunder members, with the seat and plaque unveiling at 6:50 on the concourse.

“Joe and the Rolling Thunder have been instrumental in this process,” said Paolino. “We are honored to be the first facility in the region to bring this seat to life. The chair is sure to convey a powerful message for Spinners fans for years to come.”
