PRESS RELEASE – Godfather Media, Inc. has unveiled the logo for American West Baseball League (AWBL) a professional minor baseball league that will start its summer league in 2013. Also, the league will have an instructional fall and winter league for players that want to showcase their talent to Professional Baseball Scouts, the fall league will start in October 2012 and the winter league will start between January and February 2013 the locations will be released soon.

Mr. Cummings stated “I am very pleased with the outcome of the logo it has been done with class, shows professionalism and immediately lets the public know who we are as a league. I would also like to comment on the progress of the AWBL, in the past few months we have made some great strides on our progress we have hired a commissioner, chief umpire, been in discussion with potential league members and will be announcing the signing of new members to our league, we have negotiated a lease for an league office and now we have introduced the public to our new logo.”

Agreed! Taking time to promote/market the league as a whole and individually to the towns they move in to will be integral to their success. Hopefully they can find some solid locations to move in to a thrive. I also hope that a new indy league can get off the group in northern United States/Canada to include some of the other indy teams left behind by the demise of the Northen division of the NAL (i.e. Calgary and Edmonton)
Hmmm glad to see this league progressing, I am excited to see what teams they have secured already. I hope they do this one right! The best thing so far is the fact they are spending a year promoting and marketing the league prior to the 2013 season. Best of Luck AWBL
