S.I. Yankees Introduce New Ownership, Announce Ballpark Improvements

PRESS RELEASE – The Staten Island Yankees are pleased to introduce their new ownership group, Nostalgic Partners LLC. The group, comprised of four principal owners, is determined to foster a strong connection between the Staten Island Yankees, the New York Yankees and the Staten Island community through an increased presence and by rejuvenating the experience at the Richmond County Bank Ballpark.

Fans can expect the family-friendly atmosphere to continue, while off-season changes will enhance their experience at the ballpark. The ownership group has already committed close to one million dollars in capital improvements, including refurbishing suites, renovating handicapped seating, upgrading concession stands and modernizing the stadium bathrooms.

Further improvements called for Legends Hospitality Management, a leader in the sports industry, to take over concessions and merchandising. Legends Hospitality Management is the same company that facilitates concessions and merchandising at Yankee Stadium and is committed to providing the absolute best in food and beverage. A significantly expanded menu, revamped team store and a focus on customer satisfaction are guarantees for the upcoming season.

To preserve the club’s relationship with the residents of Staten Island, Jane Rogers, whom has strong ties to the community through her long-standing service with the Staten Island Yankees, has been promoted to President. Jane, along with the Nostalgic Partners LLC, will be visible and philanthropic members of the community, not only on Staten Island, but throughout New York City.

The New York Yankees have maintained an ownership interest in the club, and they, along with Nostalgic Partners LLC are determined to ensure that Staten Island Yankees fans will continue to see future Major League stars in an intimate environment, with a breathtaking view of the Manhattan Skyline, right here on Staten Island for many years to come.
