A press conference was held in Casper (WY) Thursday to announce a new team to replace the Rookie-level Casper Ghosts (Pioneer League), which relocated to Grand Junction (CO). The summer collegiate “Casper Cutthroats” (Mountain Collegiate Baseball League) will begin play in June at Mike Lansing Field. Aaron McCreight, who runs the Casper Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, owns the franchise and will serve as the club’s general manager.
