A new 33-feet-high wall is being constructed in left field at Jerry Uht Park, home of the Double-A Erie SeaWolves (Eastern League). Unlike the Green Monster at Fenway Park, the “Gray Monster” will have a yellow home-run line 17 feet up the wall, so batter won’t have to blast balls over the top to round the bases. They aren’t seriously leaving this wall gray, are they ? If so, it will look like it is permanently under construction. There is no worse color at a ballpark than gray.
