Arrowhead Credit Union Park to Become San Manuel Stadium?

The Single-A Inland Empire 66ers (California League) have scheduled a press conference this afternoon to announce what is expected to be a ballpark naming rights deal with San Manuel Band of Mission Indians.  If you take a close look at the 66ers’ press release below, the former Arrowhead Credit Union Park is now “San Manuel Stadium.”  Read more here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the link.

PRESS RELEASE – The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and the Inland Empire 66ers are pleased to announce a major new partnership at a joint press conference scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, 2012.

The Tribe has been a long time supporter of the local baseball club and in recent years has begun working with the 66ers to develop community-minded partnerships that benefit local area groups, non-profits, little leagues and schools. Scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, 2012, the press conference will begin at 3:45pm and will be followed by an exhibition County Clash game between cross-county rivals Fontana High School and Yucaipa High School. The Inland Empire 66ers 2012 home schedule will begin on April 12, 2012 when they take on the High Desert Mavericks.
