The Single-A Inland Empire 66ers (California League) have scheduled a press conference this afternoon to announce what is expected to be a ballpark naming rights deal with San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. PRESS RELEASE – The San Manuel Band of Mission Indians and the Inland Empire 66ers are pleased to announce a major new partnership at a joint press conference scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, 2012.
The Tribe has been a long time supporter of the local baseball club and in recent years has begun working with the 66ers to develop community-minded partnerships that benefit local area groups, non-profits, little leagues and schools. Scheduled for Wednesday, March 28, 2012, the press conference will begin at 3:45pm and will be followed by an exhibition County Clash game between cross-county rivals Fontana High School and Yucaipa High School. The Inland Empire 66ers 2012 home schedule will begin on April 12, 2012 when they take on the High Desert Mavericks.
