Upgrades Approved, New Name Possible for Bowman Field

The Bowman Field Commission has given approval to spend $25,o00 for brighter lights and new foul poles at Bowman Field, home of the Single-A Williamsport Crosscutters (New York-Penn League).  The city is also working to sell the naming rights to the ballpark for a speculated $30,000 to $40,000 per year for three years.  The corporate sponsor’s name would simply be added to, not replace, the “Bowman Field” name.  Read more here.  Thanks to John Cerone for the link.
