The Winchester (VA) City Council is scheduled to vote tonight whether or not to approve a transfer of 7.9 acres of park land for a new ballpark for the Single-A Hagerstown Suns (South Atlantic League). Officials in Hagerstown and Washington County (MD) will obviously be watching closely, as a negative vote could give the current host city a little breathing room to come up with a ballpark solution.
