Texas Rangers public address announcer Chuck Morgan has decided to remove from the regular video montage play list at Rangers Ballpark the clip of then 46-year-old Nolan Ryan and 26-year-old Robin Ventura in a brawl in 1993, after Ryan hit Ventura with a pitch. The decision appears to be a simple case of moving on and showing respect, as Ryan is now co-owner of the Rangers, and Ventura is now the field manager for the Chicago White Sox, which will play the Rangers in Arlington on April 6-8 for a season-opening series.
