Wilmington Considers Preliminary Ballpark Spend, Explores Locations

The Wilmington (NC) City Council on Tuesday will consider spending $123,500 over the coming months for a feasibility study, outside legal counsel, a financial adviser, property appraisal and project management in connection with a proposed new ballpark for a Single-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves.  The city is also looking at possible locations for the project.
