Casper Looks to Fill Void Left by Ghosts’ Departure

Now that the Rookie-level Casper Ghosts (Pioneer League) have relocated to western Colorado to become the Grand Junction Rockies, Casper city officials are wasting no time trying to fill the void at Mike Lansing Field.  The Mountain Collegiate Baseball League may play there this summer, while the city talks with an existing Pioneer League team owner.  We are not at liberty to disclose the franchise, but take your guess.  The MCBL is down to three teams, as the Greeley Grays are no longer listed as members.  Read more here.
