Couzens to Join TinCaps Broadcast Team

PRESS RELEASE – The Fort Wayne TinCaps are proud to announce the hiring of Mike Couzens as Manager of Broadcasting and Media Relations. Couzens, who began his Minor League Baseball career with the Triple A-Syracuse Chiefs, most recently worked for the Dayton Dragons of the Midwest League.

With the TinCaps, Couzens will be a member of both the team’s radio and television broadcasts, in addition to handling the club’s media relations. Couzens, a native of White Plains, N.Y., served as the broadcasting and media relations assistant in Dayton. He provided radio play-by-play and color commentary on all home games, and was the lead radio broadcaster for 25 games. With the Chiefs, the International League affiliate of the Washington Nationals, he served in a similar role providing radio play-by-play, color commentary, and hosted the pre- and post-game shows.
