Crawdads Unveil 20th Anniversary Logo

PRESS RELEASE – The Crawdads would like to thank everyone who packed Rock Barn Golf and Spa on Monday night to help kick off the 20th Anniversary Season with the annual Hot Stove Banquet.

With the banquet room buzzing in anticipation, Crawdads General Manager Mark Seaman got the program going by unveiling the brand-new 20th Anniversary Logo. The logo, developed by Jason Duckworth of brahma graphx, combines a classic Crawdads look with an edgy new spin for the milestone campaign.

“We appreciate Jason at brahma graphx for retaining the integrity of the ‘H’ logo while at the same time putting a twist on it,” praised Seaman. “We feel like it is a perfect logo to celebrate our 20th Anniversary Season.”

The program continued with season previews from Lenoir-Rhyne Head Coach Paul Knight and Appalachian State Head Coach Chris Pollard, before the keynote panel discussion featuring former Crawdads players Josh Bonifay, Chris Mader, and Jason Evans, as well as former Crawdads General Manager Marty Steele. The panel speakers entertained fans of all ages, recounting stories from their time with the Crawdads, and got everyone ready for the ‘Dads Home Opener on Thursday, April 12 vs. the Asheville Tourists at L.P. Frans!

“The Hot Stove was a great way to kick off the 20th season celebration,” said Seaman. “We appreciate the speakers taking time out of their busy schedule to share their experience of their time in Hickory.”

The Crawdads would like to thank Rock Barn Golf & Spa, the Texas Rangers, the Crawdads Ownership Group, all of the table sponsors, and everyone who attended for helping make the Hot Stove such a success!
