The Cleveland City Council has approved spending $5 million to restore League Park (1891-1946), the former home of the Cleveland Spiders, featuring legendary pitcher Cy Young, and the Cleveland Indians. Plans include restoring the ticket house and bleacher wall, creating a Major League-size diamond in the same place as the original, and constructing a community building with a museum.
