Flame Seek City’s Intervention in Ballpark Dispute

Fast Ball Sports LLC, the group that has been trying to bring the indy pro Omaha Flame (North American League) to TD Ameritrade Park, has sent a letter to city officials basically asking them to put the screws to the Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority (MEAC), which oversees the stadium, to let them place the Flame there in time for the 2012 season.  Read more here.  The group has already sued MEAC to try and force their way into the park.  Read our opinion about the lawsuit here.
