We’re not sure how long it took self-described “all baseball” guy Jamie Young, general manager for the summer collegiate Forence RedWolves (Coastal Plain League), to come around to the realization that the ballpark experience is more than just about baseball, but he admittedly gets it now and is working to make Legion Field and the R-Wolves’ experience more fan friendly. Read more here. That being said, at 1,379 fans per game and a #32 ranking on our 2011 Summer Collegiate Top 50 list, the franchise appears to be on solid ground.
