The indy pro Rockford RiverHawks (Frontier League) are in talks with the Rockford Park District about making their stadium available for tournaments being held at the Sportscore Two Complex. The RiverHawks would like to see new artificial turf installed to handle the increased traffic. The partnership could give a multi-million sports tourism jolt to the Forest City and create several hundred jobs. Read more here.
