PRESS RELEASE – The Fox Cities Foxes joined the Midwest League in 1962.  The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the direct descendant of the Foxes, will celebrate 50 years in the Midwest League with a special “All Fan” giveaway on Opening Night, 2012.  Game time is 6:35pm.

The Rattlers and Time Warner Cable present five different bobbleheads wearing jerseys of past Appleton professional baseball teams as part of an “All Fan” bobblehead giveaway on April 5, 2012.  Fans in attendance that night will take home a piece of Appleton baseball history!

Each bobblehead is decorated with the jersey and cap from one of the following years:

1995 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Original home jersey)

2011 Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (Updated home jersey)

All fans attending the game between the Timber Rattlers and the Cedar Rapids Kernels on Thursday, April 5, 2012 will receive one of the bobbleheads at random.  There will be equal numbers of four models of bobbleheads.  However, only 250 of the 1953 Appleton Papermakers bobbleheads will be available as part of the giveaway.

Individual tickets for the upcoming season will not go on sale until March, but fans may secure a free Opening Night ticket and a guaranteed bobblehead from the series by purchasing a 10-game ticket package now!  Ten game ticket packages for Bang for Your Buck Nights, Fireworks Nights, Weekends, and Weekdays, are all available from the Time Warner Cable Field Box Office.
