PRESS RELEASE – The Rancho Cucamonga Quakes and the City of Rancho Cucamonga are proud to announce they have agreed to terms on a lease extension that will make The Epicenter the home of the Quakes for at least the next ten years.
The new lease extension, which was unanimously approved at Wednesday night’s City Council meeting, includes an initial ten-year agreement with two additional five-year options.
After purchasing the Quakes at the end of the 2009 season, Brett Sports and Entertainment has been working in accordance with the City of Rancho Cucamonga to get a new deal in place.
“The Quakes are excited to finalize this new lease agreement and continue our great partnership with the City of Rancho Cucamonga,” said Quakes President and part-owner Brent Miles. “The Epicenter is a beautiful, fun and safe place for our fans to visit and we’re proud to be able to call it home.”
The upcoming 2012 season will mark the 20th year for the Quakes at The Epicenter.
“The City of Rancho Cucamonga has truly enjoyed having the Quakes at The Epicenter over the last 20 years,” said Community Services Director Kevin McArdle. “Thanks to this lease extension, the City is looking forward to 20 more years of Quakes Baseball in Rancho Cucamonga.”
