The Carminucci Sports Group has reportedly promoted indy pro Brockton Rox (Can-Am League) food and beverage director Sander Stotland to general manager of the summer collegiate Torrington Titans (Futures Collegiate Baseball League). PRESS RELEASE – The Torrington Titans, of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England, are proud to introduce Sander Stotland as their new General Manager for the 2012 Titans campaign. Sander takes over for Mike O’Malley in order for Mike to pursue other roles within Carminucci Sports Group. Sander comes to the Titans by way of the Brockton Rox of the Can-Am league where he was the Director of Food & Beverage for the 2011 season.
Sander has owned and operated the food and beverage company that provided services to the El Paso Diablos, Saint Joseph Missouri Blacksnakes, and the Atlantic City Surf minor league baseball clubs’. Sander assisted in the opening of Quik-Trip Park for the Grand Prairie Air Hogs. Sander has held the title of Assistant general manager for the Atlantic City Surf during the 2007 season.
Prior to that, Sander was a member of the opening team of the Toyota Center for the Houston Rockets (NBA) and Reliant Stadium home of the Houston Texans (NFL).
Sander has worked the entire spectrum of events from Super bowls; MLB all-star games, and helped in the promotion of mega star concerts.
Before his sports and entertainment career Sander achieved the rank of detective sergeant for the Manvel, TX police department. Sander participated in multi-jurisdictional gang and narcotics task forces.
