It appears unlikely that there will be professional baseball at TD Ameritrade Park in 2012, as the Metropolitan Entertainment and Convention Authority is tied up in a lawsuit with the Omaha Flame ownership group. The Flame were gunning to play pro ball at the new home for the College World Series as a new franchise from the indy pro Northern League, but negotiations took at turn when the league imploded and the rickety indy pro North American League was born.
