PRESS RELEASE – The Portland Sea Dogs will celebrate the final Friday game of the season by paying tribute to flannel. Flannel Friday is set for Friday, September 2nd when the Sea Dogs host the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) at 7:00 PM.
All fans are encouraged to wear flannel to the game. Fans who wear flannel to the game will be permitted to have a photo taken in the Sea Dogs dugout from 5:30 to 5:50 PM. Fans in flannel will also have the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first-pitch.
Our friends at L.L. Bean will be providing several flannel shirts that fans will have the opportunity to win.
Not a fan of flannel? Let us help, bring your flannel shirts to the ballpark and we will donate them to Goodwill.
