PRESS RELEASE – The days of the Canadians freebie are gone. Tickets to tonight’s Vancouver Canadians game against the Tri-City Dust Devils are Sold Out. Tickets to Saturday and Sunday are Sold Out as well.
With Friday’s Power Smart ‘Nooner presented by BC Hydro also on the verge of selling out, it looks as if Canadians Baseball will sellout the final eight home dates on the 2011 schedule.
“We fought through a rough patch of weather early on and now we are seeing our fans come out in droves,” says Canadians General Manager Jason Takefman.
“We are extremely proud to be able to call this one of the toughest tickets in town”.
The only game remaining for the Canadians with seats still available is tomorrow, Friday, August 26th set for 1:05pm as BC Hydro presents a Power Smart ‘Nooner with gates opening at 12:00pm. With the forecast presenting sunshine, the Canadians are expecting a sellout as well.
“There is an electircity in this building I can’t describe. You have to be here to understand what it feels like. The way our fans have responded to the team is amazing”.
You can hear tonight’s game on Team1040 Sports Radio with Rob Fai starting at 6:00pm with Vancouver Canadians Game Day powered by Booster Juice. First pitch is set for 7:05pm.
