Pecos Eyeballing Trinidad, Trinidad Eyeballing Pecos

The first-year indy pro Pecos League and the community of Trinidad (CO) are in talks to bring an expansion franchise to Central Park starting in 2012.  The team is tentatively known as the Trinidad Gold, although a name-the-team contest would apparently be held, if a deal happens.  Trinidad has a population of around 9,000.  Read more here.
