The City of Zion (IL) has issued a default notice to the indy pro Lake County Fielders (North American League) requesting $185,000 in back rent for the use of the city’s temporary ballpark. This appears to be political move on the part of city leaders to cover their rears, after the newspaper made a Freedom of Information request for documents. Read more here.
