Summit Professional Baseball, the group that has purchased the indy pro Frontier League’s dormant and financially troubled Oakland County Cruisers franchise, is targeting Clawson (MI) for a new home. Under a plan presented to the City Planning Commission on Tuesday, SPB would spend $1 million upgrading the City Park baseball field. No taxpayer dollars are being contemplated for the project.
