A protest is ramping up against the post-game fireworks show scheduled for Thursday’s inaugural home opener for the Can-Am League’s Rockland (Ramapo, NY) Boulders at Provident Bank Park. Supporters of the nearby animal shelter are concerned about the impact the fireworks will have on the animals. To be fair, we’ve seen a few pets freak out from the boom of fireworks (and thunder), but “the show must go on.” Sedatives for everyone! Read more here.
