According to Clark County (Vancouver, WA) Deputy Treasurer John Payne, a five percent countywide admissions tax would generate $965,000 per year, which only covers 53 percent of the capital construction costs for the proposed new $23 million ballpark for the Single-A Yakima (WA) Bears.
