Bisons to Host World’s Largest Baby Shower

PRESS RELEASE – The Buffalo Bisons today announced that they will be partnering with the Food Bank of Western New York to host the WORLD’S LARGEST BABY SHOWER during the team’s game against the Indianapolis Indians on Friday, June 10 at Coca-Cola Field (7:35 p.m.).

All Fans that donate diapers (all sizes) and/or infant formula when they arrive at Coca-Cola Field will receive a buy-one, get-one voucher that can be used for the Bisons games on Monday, June 13 or Tuesday, June 14. Anyone who donates will also be entered in a raffle that night to win a BPO 4-Pack for the Bisons annual KeyBank Independence Eve Celebration with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus on July 3.

Other acceptable items for donation include baby wipes, baby lotion, baby shampoo or baby food (clothing or toys will not be accepted).

“The Bisons have always been a proud supporter of the Food Bank and the vital service they provide to so many Western New Yorker families,” said Mike Buczkowski, Vice President/General Manger of the Buffalo Bisons. “So often, people think it’s only adults who need these services. It’s important to remember that there are many young children that need help each and every day.”

The Food Bank of Western New York serves nearly 100,000 individuals in Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie and Niagara counties each month. That number includes 39,000 children and several thousand infants. There is a tremendous need for items for infants of parents who cannot afford the essentials, such as diapers and infant formula.

The World’s Largest Baby Shower is also a fridaynightbash!®, presented by Seneca Niagara Casino & Hotel. The Bisons will take on Indianapolis Indians at 7:35pm with a spectacular post game fireworks display. There will also be a pre-game Plaza Party at 5pm with live music and food and drink specials.
