Are tailgating, cheap beer, and cheap tickets creating the perfect storm for obnoxious and even violent behavior at ballparks across America? Some researchers seem to think so. In our years of visiting ballparks, we have seen drunken, annoying behavior at MLB parks, but rarely at the minor league level. We’re thinking the more intimate environment at the smaller parks makes it easier to come down on those who are out of control. We’ve been to many St. Paul Saints games, where tailgating has been perfected, and we’ve never seen a problem at Midway Stadium. Read more here.
