Legion Program to Pay for Use of Delano-Hitch Stadium

Citing budget challenges, the city of Newburgh (NY) began charging for the use of Delano-Hitch Stadium in 2010.  Rather than find another place to play, the Newburgh Nuclears American Legion club has decided to reimburse the city for the costs associated with using the ballpark.  Read more hereView fee schedule here.

Delan0-Hitch is a former minor league park that was built in 1926 and renovated in 1998.  The most recent pro clubs to play at the ballpark were the indy pro Newburgh Black Diamonds from the Atlantic League (1998) and Newburgh Nighthawks from the Northeast League (1995-1996).
