Blowfish Unveil New Logo

PRESS RELEASE – The Columbia Blowfish Baseball Club (Coastal Plain League) announced the arrival of family member-“Bluey” who will begin swimming along side his older brother “Blowie” at Historic Capital City Stadium this summer. The fresh new design has been well received, as already five teams in Blythewood Little League (Blythewood, S.C.) have showcased the new look for this season. The logo will be showcased on the 2011 official cap the Blowfish players will be wearing all summer long.

“Bluey is a little bit more no nonsense then his older brother Blowie. A fish with an attitude-now that should be interesting,” declared Blowfish President Bill Shanahan. “We want to to thank Plan B Branding for their amazing creativity!” Plan B Branding is the team of Jason & Casey. The design firm creates the official logos for Major League and Minor League Baseball teams. Most recently, PLAN B has completed projects for the World Series, and recently modernized the logos for America’s oldest baseball club, the Cincinnati Reds.
