Grizzlies Sell Out Box Seats

PRESS RELEASE – For the first time in the Grizzlies ten year history all box seats have sold out for the entire season. The 184 box seats located behind home plate are the only chair back seats in Sims Legion Park, besides the seating in the newly renovated Miller Lite Beer Garden.

The Grizzlies have seen a 60% increase in box seat ticket sales for 2011 season. Grizzlies Managing Partner Jesse Cole credits his new full time ticket department consisting of Director of Ticket Sales Wes Reese and Account Executive Will Canfield for the increase.

The City of Gastonia and the Grizzlies partnered on a major facelift for Sims Park including a new concourse, ticket booth, fans in the grandstand, Beer Garden and Group Area that will be ready for opening night on May 31st.

“The support from the Gaston County community has been amazing,” said Managing Partner Jesse Cole. “We have never seen so much excitement for a Grizzlies season and we credit the City of Gastonia for helping us with some tremendous renovations at the ballpark to help give back to the fans. We will pride ourselves this season and enhancing the fan experience even more and providing the best show in town!”

The Grizzlies still have general admission season tickets available for $125 and the popular “All You Can Eat Plan” for $50. For information on all tickets, fans can call the Grizzlies front office at 704-866-8622 or visit http://www.gastoniagrizzlies.com.
