PRESS RELEASE – Taco Bell and the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers have teamed up to present Ultimate College Night at Time Warner Cable Field on Thursday, April 28. There will be college-themed prizes from Taco Bell, JanSport and a variety of other sponsors. Game time is 6:35pm.
Special buses are set to depart from The Abbey in De Pere and Kelly’s Bar in Oshkosh for students. Cost of the bus is $5 and includes a general admission ticket to Thursday’s game. The buses will leave for the game at 5:30pm. Taco Bell will provide coupons for free tacos to all students riding the bus to the game.
Admission for college students who don’t ride one of the buses is $1 with a valid college ID.
Mascots from St. Norbert, Wisconsin-Oshkosh, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Wisconsin-Parkside, and Rasmussen College will also be on hand. Members of the NCAA Division III National Championship Hockey team from St. Norbert College will toss out ceremonial first pitches before the game.
There will also be many contests and promotions with a college twist during Thursday’s game. Included in the promotions are: a root beer flip cup competition, a Buffalo Wild Wings blazing wings eating contest, and a JanSport College Fan Makeover.
