A grand opening was held last Friday for Oil City Stadium, a new 1,100-seat brick ballpark in Whiting (IN). The ballpark will serve as the home for Whiting High School and Calumet College of St. Joseph, but other leagues have reportedly expressed interest in using the ballpark. We suspect the summer colleagiate Northwoods and Prospect leagues have already come calling. Read more and view photos here.
