Vote for Baum Stadium Memorable Moments

PRESS RELEASE – Razorback fans have an opportunity to vote for the top 15 moments in Baum Stadium history in commemoration of the 15-year anniversary of the opening of the best stadium in college baseball.

Since its debut on April 13, 1996, Baum Stadium at George Cole Field has hosted many of the most memorable moments in Razorback baseball history ranging from the stadium’s grand opening and Arkansas’ doubleheader sweep of Auburn in 1996 to last weekend’s three-run home run from James McCann to give Arkansas an improbable 4-3 win over the LSU Tigers.

From now until May 1, fans can log on to ArkansasRazorbacks.com to vote for their favorite moments at Baum Stadium. Fans may vote from the pre-selected moments on the ballot or submit their own memorable moment for consideration. The top 15 Baum Stadium moments will be revealed during each of Arkansas’ May home games with the top moment unveiled during the regular season finale on Saturday, May 21 against Ole Miss.

The Razorbacks host Mississippi State in a three-game series this weekend at Baum Stadium with Friday’s game beginning at 7:05 p.m. Saturday and Sunday’s games are set for 6:35 p.m. and 1:05 p.m., respectively.

Tickets remain for all University of Arkansas home baseball games at Baum Stadium. Fans may pre-order tickets by logging on to ArkansasRazorbacks.com or calling the UA Ticket Office at 1-800-982-HOGS (4647).
