PRESS RELEASE – The Bellingham Bells have launched an exciting new website that includes an expanded offering for team content in addition to providing fans with an online store and online ticketing functions. The portal for the online store should be up and running within the next week. The site will integrate several components of the team’s new brand identity (colors, logos, graphics) and can still be found at the same web address: www.bellinghambells.com.
“We are extremely excited about our new website” said Bells general manager Blake Buswell. “Aside from offering our fans great access to team information and data, the site also enables individuals looking for Bells merchandise and/or tickets to Bells games to make their purchases online.”
Fans visiting the website can also participate in an on-line “Name the Mascot” contest that will be taking place through Wednesday, April 20. All fully completed ballots will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win some fun prizes including: Bells 2011 season tickets, Terrace Club tickets to an upcoming Mariners game and some new Bells merchandise. The Bells expect their new “Bellinghamster” to arrive into town by month’s end. The time and location of the “welcoming” event will be announced on the website in the very near future.
“This new website represents just another step we have taken to try and re-energize the franchise,” said Bells owner Eddie Poplawski. “We have worked hard to bring a fresh new look to the ballclub and we appreciate all of the great feedback that we have received from fans throughout Bellingham and surrounding communities.”
The Bells open their season on June 3rd at Joe Martin Field against the Kelowna Falcons. For information regarding tickets or sponsorships, please contact the Bellingham Bells offices at (360) 527-1035 or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
