Work Continues on Ramapo Park, Stop-Work Order Narrowly Focused

The stop-work order issued by the New York Department of Environmental Conservation to halt construction on the new ballpark in Ramapo was a bit misleading, as it only referred to moving dirt and soil involved in the erosion violations.  Construction has been ongoing, while the problems were rectified.  Ramapo Supervisor Christopher St. Lawrence said on Friday that the violations have been corrected.  Read more here.

  1. Good to hear ! I’m surprised it took a week for it to be reported that it really was not a full stop work order.
