PRESS RELEASE – The Nashua Silver Knights are very excited to announce the new logos the team will use for all marketing and merchandising purposes.
The logos were created by Aurelien Durand, who actually resides in Paris, France. Durand was introduced to the Nashua Silver Knights when he had previously participated in the New York- Penn League Logo Contest and the New York-Penn League All Star Contest.
A huge baseball fan, Durand jumped at the opportunity to create and design the logo for the Silver Knights.
“I always wanted to design a baseball team logo, and I thank the City of Nashua and the Silver Knights for having given me this opportunity,” said Durand. “This was a one-of-a-kind opportunity and I’m really proud of the results. It was exciting to create a logo from scratch for the Silver Knights.”
Nashua Silver Knights President Tim Bawmann was equally as excited with the results.
“Aurelien is one of the most talented designers I have ever worked with,” said Bawmann. “The ability to find someone with his creativity and passion for baseball as far away as Paris, France is truly amazing. He delivered a logo that I’m confident the Nashua community can be proud of. Our Silver Knight is the “Gate Keeper” to the City.”
The logo will allow the team many different marketing opportunities, including a glow in the dark theme the front office is already currently hard at work on.
The Silver Knights play in the newly formed Futures Collegiate Baseball League of New England. For more information please contact Jon Goode at jgoode@lowellspinners.com or call 978-805-5106.
