The vote on the new Escondido (CA) ballpark for the Triple Tucson Padres has been put off until the end of March or even April. The reason given was not California Governor Jerry Brown’s threat of eliminating redevelopment agencies, but the shear volume of work needed to draft and finalize a very lengthy disposition and development agreement that would pull the trigger on the project.
