PRESS RELEASE – Food fanatics from around the Sandhills region will have the opportunity to take a “BIG Bite” out of Fayetteville. The Fayetteville SwampDogs are happy to announce the 1st Annual BIG Bite, a sampling of Fayetteville’s local restaurant fare.
On April 2nd, “The Swamp” will open its gates to welcome local restaurant chefs who are anxious to showcase their premier items to the culinary connoisseurs of Cumberland County. Guests will have the opportunity to visit numerous restaurant displays to sample their finest, as well sampling a few exotic adult beverages.
The feasting begins at 3pm with the final sample to be served at 8:30pm. Food, drinks and fun won’t be the only entertainment “The Swamp” will offer on April 2nd. While guests are enjoying the delicacies they can sit back, relax and listen to live music throughout the afternoon and evening.
Entrance into the “Big Bite” will be free and open to all ages looking to have a fun evening. The first 500 in attendance 21 or older will receive their choice of a commemorative beer or wine glass.
“The Fayetteville area has amazing restaurants to choose from and this is a great way to showcase the local restaurant fare,” said Trey Wright, SwampDogs Outside Events Manager. “We look forward to this being the first of many events of this caliber at “The Swamp”.
