PRESS RELEASE – Tickets are on sale now for the history-making Major League Soccer match between the Houston Dynamo and 2010 MLS Cup finalist FC Dallas.

All tickets sold through February 11 are $20; day-of-match tickets $22. Match time is 2 p.m.
“Our season-ticket holders just came through an exclusive ticket-buying window and we had a strong response,” Corpus Christi Hooks general manager Michael Wood explained. “That being said, there is plenty of opportunity in seats with great sightlines.
“Over the course of the next few weeks, a Dynamo-FC Dallas ticket will become very hot in the Coastal Bend and South Texas. The Dynamo-Laredo Heat exhibition match last June drew well over 6,000 fans. With two in-Texas MLS clubs who are great rivals at Whataburger Field on February 12, we anticipate filling the house… and more.

The Dynamo went 9-15-6 in league play last season. The two-time MLS Cup champions (2006-07) return to Corpus Christi under head coach Dominic Kinnear and are led by captain and all-time scoring leader Brian Ching, assist leader Brad Davis and emerging star Geoff Cameron. All three competed for Team U.S.A in 2010. Goalie Tally Hall and center back Bobby Boswell key the defense.
FC Dallas (12-4-14 2010 regular season) fell to Colorado 2-1 in the MLS finals at Toronto in November. Schellas Hyndman is reigning MLS Coach of the Year and midfielder/forward David Ferreira league MVP. Goalkeeper Kevin Hartman shattered the MLS single-season goals against average mark.
