PRESS RELEASE – The Vermont Mountaineers, sensing the deep disappointment of the many Vermont Frost Heaves‘ fans because of the recent dissolution of the team will offer Mountaineers’ season tickets to those fans who purchased Frost Heaves’ season tickets.
Mountaineers Mascot Skip with Frost Heaves Mascot Bump
“As a major sports organization in central Vermont, we want to help Frost Heaves fans lessen the sting of the unfortunate termination of their basketball season,” said Brian Gallagher, Mountaineers’ General Manager. “The Mountaineers’ organization has decided to set up a mechanism to exchange season tickets with Frost Heaves’ fans.” Details of the exchange will be posted here shortly.
Gallagher said he knows of several area sports fans that have frequented both Mountaineers’ and Frost Heaves’ games in recent years, exhibiting a strong core fan base for both organizations. We hope this will take away some of the pain of losing this team for the ticket holders and our board of directors felt strongly that this was the right thing to do.
