Gophers Desperate for New Park

With a deflated and out-of-commission Metrodome, and a crumbling, out-of-date (and snow-buried!) home facility (Siebert Field), the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers continue to desperately raise funds for a new on-campus ballpark.  To build on the $4 million already compiled for the stadium project, the program will host a “Bottom of the Ninth” fundraiser at TCF Bank Stadium tonight at 6:oo p.m.  Read more here.
