No big suprise here, but today the Nueces County Commissioners formally terminated the county’s lease with the United League’s Coastal Bend (Robstown, TX) Thunder. The Thunder owed more than $28,000 in back rent for using Fairgrounds Field. Read more here. Thanks to Eddie Utley for the link.
